The Travelling Dental Team

From 1986 to 1990 Mary Stickel DH and her husband Charlie Stickle DDS operated one of several outreach dental programs on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Health's, Under Serviced Area Dental Program. From the very beginning Mary kept a journal of their experiences and this book is the result. Their clinic was operated out of a 12 x 60 foot purpose built coach that included both living quarters and a fully equipped dental operatory. Mary's daily writings offer a unique, humourous, and insightful look into the world of rural dentistry in remote areas of eastern and northern Ontario.
