Ronnie was the one child in the Simpson family to escape from the abuse and grow up in a normal home without being bounced from place to place or ending up on the street.
That was what the others all thought.
That was what Ronnie told herself.
When Ronnie could remember.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This story was well written and heartbreaking. It’s the story of how easily a child can be manipulated over and over and still not understand how badly she’s been mistreated. How the very system that is supposed to keep children safe can fail them. And how the ones we trust the most can do the most horrific things to us and get away with it.
