Khemchand R. Surana, MSPharm, is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Shreeshakti Shaikshanik Sanstha Divine College of Pharmacy, Satana, Nashik, India. He earned his master’s degree (MSPharm) in medicinal chemistry at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ahmadabad (NIPER-A), India. He has attended several national and international conferences and workshops. He has published more than 35 publications, which include reviews, research articles, and book chapters in national and international publications. He has also published nine books on pharmacy. His research work involved synthesis of novel anti-inflammatory agent via C-H activation mechanism and coumarin-based anti-inflammatory agents as well as benzophenone scaffold. His area of interest is computer-aided drug design and synthesis, biological activity, evaluation, and nutraceuticals.
Eknath D. Ahire, MSPharm, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at MET’s, Institute of Pharmacy, Bhujbal Knowledge City, Adgoan, Nashik, affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India. He earned his BPharm degree at Savitribai Phule Pune University, India, and his master’s degree (MSPharm) in Pharmaceutics at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research-Ahmedabad (NIPER-A), India. Currently he is a PhD Scholar with Savitribai Phule, Pune University, India. He has been awarded with a NFST (RGNF) PhD Research Scholar fellowship by the Govt. of India. He is working for QCS Labs LLP, Mumbai, as Inspector for Nigeria regulatory market pre-shipment inspection under the Earn and Learn Scheme. He has total of five years of experience as Formulation Scientist II at Torrent Research Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujrat, as well as four years of academic experience. He is working as a reviewer for several reputed international journals, including Pharmaceutical Development and Technology, International Journal of Applied Nanotechnology Research, and Exploration of Immunology Journal. He is an editorial board member at Acta Scientific and Community Acquired Infection. He is a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). He has more than 30 publications (research, review, and book chapters) published in national and international journals as well as six textbooks. He has participated and attended several national and international conferences and workshops. He has worked on nanotechnology-based novel drug delivery systems, nutraceuticals, and immunology.
Raj K. Keservani, MPharm, is an Associate Professor, Faculty of B. Pharmacy, CSM Group of Institutions, Allahabad, India. He has more than 12 years of academic (teaching) experience from various institutes of India in pharmaceutical education. He has published 31 peer-reviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in national and international journals, 43 book chapters, three co-authored books, and 18 edited books. He is also active as a reviewer for several international scientific journals. Mr. Keservani graduated with a pharmacy degree from the Department of Pharmacy, Kumaun University, Nainital (Uttarakhand), India. He received his Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) (specialization in pharmaceutics) from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, India. Mr. Keservani is a life member of Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER). His research interests include nutraceutical and functional foods, novel drug delivery systems (NDDS), transdermal drug delivery/drug delivery, health science, cancer biology, and neurobiology.
Rajesh K. Kesharwani, PhD, MTech, is working as Associate Professor, Department of Computer Application, Nehru Gram Bharati (Deemed to be University), Prayagraj, India. He has more than 11 years of research and nine years of teaching experience at various institutes of India, imparting bioinformatics and biotechnology education. He has received several awards, including the NASI-Swarna Jayanti Puruskar by The National Academy of Sciences of India. He has supervised one PhD and more than 20 undergraduate and graduate students for their research work. Dr. Kesharwani has authored over 49 peer-reviewed articles, 20 book chapters, and 14 edited books with international publishers. He has been a member of many scientific communities as well as a reviewer for many international journals. He has presented many papers at various national and international conferences. Dr. Kesharwani received his PhD from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, and worked at NIT Warangal for two semesters. He has been a recipient of a Ministry of Human Resource Development (India) Fellowship and a Senior Research Fellowship from the Indian Council of Medical Research, India. His research fields of interest are medical informatics, protein structure and function prediction, computer-aided drug designing, structural biology, drug delivery, cancer biology, nanobiotechnology, and biomedical sciences.
