This book recounts the experiences of the author as a legal practitioner advising a regional regulatory agency located in western Canada that was primarily concerned with regulating the railway industry in the 1980s. The book describes particular cases as well as provides a general overview of the methodologies of regulatory law practice in the 1980s.
