Pranav Pathak, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences and Research at MIT Art, Design and Technological University, Pune, India. His research specialization is bio-refinery, biomass and waste utilization, and wastewater treatment. He has published more than 40 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals and has three edited books and several book chapters to his credit. He has served as a referee for a number of international journals, including the International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology, Sustainable Production and Consumption, and BMC Microbiology.
