Winter’s Child

　　When Tom wishes winter would never end, he meets another boy who shares his love of snow and ice. Playing together every day, Tom hardly notices that spring doesn't come - until he realises the terrible effect of unending winter is having on the countryside and his sick grandma. His friend is Winter's child, and for the seasons to go on the friends must say goodbye until next year.

作者簡介

　　Angela McAllister has written over thirty children's books and in 2011 won the Red House Children's Book Award. Her first book with Grahame, Leon and the Place Between, was short-listed for the Greenaway Medal in 2010. Grahame Baker-Smith has worked in illustration for twenty years and in 2011 won the Greenaway Medal for his inspiring tale of fatherhood, Farther. He has also recently illustrated Pinocchio for The Folio Society.
