Blade Runner: Tokyo Nexus

Introducing the first of three in a new Blade Runner mini-series, exploring and expanding the Blade Runner universe with a whole new home planet!

Sickened by the seemingly never-ending war on the far-off planet of Kathanlia, a squad of 12 Nexus 6 Combat Replicants, led by their human NCO, go AWOL in an attempt to escape and live out their days in peace, preferably on some sun kissed outer world colony. To finance their dream, they plan to rob a corrupt Tyrell syndicate Executive and erase their records before disappearing. Learning of their desertion and theft, the CEO sends out a team of Corporate Blade Runners to retire them all with extreme prejudice.

Now to earn their retirement, they’re going to have to fight for it...

Mellow Brown
Born & raised in Cleveland, OH, and studied at Cleveland State University, where he became a software engineer and developed the skills to help urban communities with open-source technology. Today, he is a screenwriter that has previously written for the TV series ’American Gods’. He is also the co-writer of the critically acclaimed BLADE RUNNER: ORIGINS saga.

KIANNA SHORE
Born in Busan, South Korea and adopted into a Jewish family, Kianna spent her childhood in Texas and earned her BA at Boston University and is an UCLA MFA Screenwriting alumna. Kianna has worked as a staff writer on The Chicken Girls and Stage Fright. Most recently she worked as a writer at Hammer Creative working on League of Legends.

CREATIVE CONSULTANT: Mike Johnson is a prolific comic book writer with credits writing Titans, Superman, Batman, Star Trek: Nero and Star Trek: The Official Motion. He is the ongoing writer of the IDWStar Trek series, as well as comic book tie-ins to Fringe, Transformers.
