Tarell Mcintosh, or ＂Chef Tee＂ as he is often known, opened Sugarcane London during the pandemic. He had previously worked as a teacher and chef, but was able to truly exercise his passion for cooking when he transformed what was once a corner shop into what is now Sugarcane. Having grown up in care himself, Chef Tee aims to create change by employing care leavers and 16-25 year olds. He has four degrees, runs marathons for charity, and brings fantastic Caribbean food to London.
