The American Flag: Activities to Develop Respect and Appreciation

This workbook has 100 printable pages exploring the American flag, the Pledge of Allegiance, why we honor the US flag, places we hoist our colors, and how we can honor soldiers who fought for the freedoms we enjoy. Students think and write about days in which we fly our flag in honor of people who have served: Flag Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Independence Day.
