Decide who will play as red squirrels and who will play as orange squirrels. The youngest player goes first, selecting a squirrel and jumping along the mushroom path. With each turn, the squirrel must move the number of jumps shown on its side until it reaches its nesting tree. You can have as many squirrels as you like on the path at any one time and jump over other squirrels as you move. If you land on a mushroom that is already occupied by the other team’s squirrel, then you can either share the spot or use a flight token to send them flying back to the start to begin their journey again.
