Buck and his friends are sent to Edwards Air Force Base on a new top-secret assignment. Their joy at being test pilots again is short-lived: they are in fact to test and train an artificial intelligence program that could very well one day replace them in the cockpit of a fighter jet. As if that wasn’t enough, the project is plagued by a string of incidents, to the point that Buck begins to - rightly - suspect outside interference ...

A former pilot in the French Navy, FrédéricZumbiehl has since turned to writing. He wrote the scripts of several military adventure series, always insisting on hyper-realism, such as Team Rafale or Unité Félin. He was picked to replace Francis Bergèse at the helm of Buck Danny. Gil Formosa began working in comics at 18, as Morris’s assistant on the Lucky Luke cartoons, before making a name for himself as an illustrator of posters and covers, interspersed with several comic series.
