Sex Education for Schools

RHSE: Relationships, Health and Sex Education has been compulsory in secondary schools since 1 September 2020. Primary school children are taught Relationship Education.

We need to do some research and find out what exactly they are teaching the children.

This book provides all the information children need to know about sex. The problem is: what age do you teach it? The age of consent is 16, so that seems the obvious age at which to teach it. But it is a fact that girls have their first period when they are 13. That is their body saying: ’right, I’m ready to make babies now.’

But they are not ready to make babies at 13, they are not big enough, their bodies have not developed enough to carry a baby full term: Their internal organs will be damaged if they have a baby when they are 13.

So how do we stop this happening?

I heard on the radio that all they teach kids these days is how to use a condom. Girls are still falling pregnant accidentally. 50% of pregnancies are not planned. The problem is worldwide, I read that 90% of women in India have been raped.
