Sital Gorasia Chapman grew up in London with a cheeky younger brother and lots of cousins. As a child she was a big reader and the library was one of her favourite places. When she wasn’t reading, she was writing, doodling, or daydreaming about stories, and as an adult she has now authored many books for children. She loves the colour and playfulness of Holi and the way it brings people together.

Pranami Bora is a self-taught illustrator based in northern Italy. She was born in a little town in the northeast Indian state of Assam, home to more than hundred different ethnic groups with their own distinct identities and traditions. The diverse cultures and beauty of the nature that she grew up around has been her biggest artistic influences. Pranami has loved to draw since she was a child. Alongside her passion for art, she pursued a PhD in Computational Biology. Yet, she never let go of her creative side. In 2022, following the birth of her twin daughters, Pranami felt reconnected with her own childhood and discovered that her true passion was in children’s illustrations.
