Organizations in every industry are facing pressure to become more sustainable, reduce their carbon footprint and ensure resources are reused, reduced and recycled; whether that push for change is from consumers or direct from government in terms of policy, and the sports industry is no exception.

Moisés Grimaldi-Puyana is Associate Professor in Sports Science at the Universidad de Sevilla. Currently, he is a professor and researcher in the Physical Education and Sport Department at the Universidad de Sevilla, Spain, where he teaches Bachelor and Master level courses in the Sport and Exercise Sciences program.

Jerónimo García-Fernández is Associate Professor in Sports Science at the Universidad de Sevilla. Currently, he is a professor and researcher in the Physical Education and Sport Department at the Universidad de Sevilla, Spain, where he teaches Bachelor and Master level courses in the Sport and Exercise Sciences program.

Sardar Mohammadi is an Associate Professor in Sports management and sport marketing at the University of Kurdistan.

Pablo Gálvez Ruiz is the Manager of BeOne Fitness and Sports. He is also a professor and researcher at Valencian International University and participates in different Masters in sports management.
