Best Racehorses of 2022 contains racing and pedigree profiles and analysis on all the Group 1 winners in Europe, all the Irish- and British-trained group-race winners at home and abroad, plus all winners of Group 2 races in France, and any horse who travelled to Ireland or Great Britain and won a group race there. It was the year in which classic-winning miler and phenomenal stallion Dubawi finally became champion sire, when his 2021 conqueror Frankel secured a repeat championship title overall in Europe, and when Lillie Langtry joined the small but select group who of mares have produced three Group 1 classic stars at stud thanks to her daughter Tuesday’s victory in the Oaks.
