The Great Book of Goldfish.

Hi. I am a retired high school Maths teacher from Australia. I learned

many things as a teacher, but the most important were to never

underestimate a child’s ability to learn, and to always engage with humour

and enthusiasm. This book attempts to introduce and to raise the child’s

awareness of the wider world outside the family home. This world is full

of differences and also similarities. It is full of excitement and wonder and

adventure. The book explores values of family, friendship, engagement

and activity. Concepts of science, history, maths and the environment are

introduced. The book is relentlessly positive and affirming. Oh, and do not

forget to count the bubbles.
