The Littlest Owl

Deep inside the willow tree the last baby owl is born. He's so very small, a downy white ball. The other owls grow and learn to fly, but no matter how hard he tries, the littlest owl can't quite do it.

Award-winning author Caroline Pitcher studied English and European Literature and went on to work as a primary school teacher for over twelve years. She is now a full-time author and has written picture books and children’s novels, as well as short stories. Caroline now lives in Derby with her family and often visits schools, libraries and bookshops in the area to talk to children about her writing.

Tina Macnaughton was born in Edinburgh and now lives in Guildford. She has illustrated a number of books for Little Tiger Press, including Snow Friends, the delightful Snuggle Up, Sleepy Ones and the best-selling Little Hedgehog.
