A Short Drive Through the 21st Century: The Future of Energy, Trade and Demographics

This book is a brief overview of the next century using Economic analysis. It covers three main areas: Energy (with emphasis on oil), the international sector, and demographic change for both the USA and the world. There are some surprising results. Oil appears to have a long term stable mean of about ＄25 a barrel. International trade may be peaking, with a decline of trade into blocs. Africa may emerge as a rapidly developing continent by mid century. Financial turbulence is considered in the tradition of Hyman Minsky.
