Fit and Proper People

Inspired by Durrenmatt's The Visit, real backstage football events and the tainted world of News International, Fit and Proper People exposes the backstage dealings that manufacture our national heroes, and addresses the very topical question of who is running our social and cultural institutions.

Georgia Fitch trained as an actress at East 15, and is from East London. She was Writer in Residence at the Bush Theatre in 2001. Her work includes: ＂Alone＂(ETC) and ＂Arrivals＂ (Old Red Lion). She also co-wrote ＂The Footballer’s Wife＂ (Riverside Studios) and ＂Come Dancing＂ (Old Red Lion) with Tracy O’Flaherty. She has developed work for Carlton Television.
