Dr. Giora Eliraz is Affiliate Instructor at the Jackson School of International Studies, University of Washington, Seattle; Associate Fellow, the Harry S. Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace, Hebrew University of Jerusalem; and Research Associate at the Forum for Regional Thinking (FORTH). He was formerly a Visiting Fellow at the Southeast Asia Centre, Faculty of Asian Studies, the Australian National University, Canberra and Affiliated Fellow at KITLV/Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies, Leiden. He is the author of Islam in Indonesia: Modernism, Radicalism and the Middle East Dimension (Brighton & Portland: Sussex Academic Press, 2004).
