In Your Arms

Lissa Bloom has been outshone by the beauty of her younger sister Shirley for years.  She’s hopelessly given up on love for herself as the handsome young men of Gideon’s Gulch have never given her the time of day. 

Yet when Marcus McCaide breezes through town, he threatens to upset Lissa’s lonely little world.  He’s not interested in Shirley, and he’s not shy about voicing his attraction for Lissa.  But he’s admitted to not being the marrying kind, telling Lissa that he’d only break her heart.

When the elderly Dr. Newcomb asks for Lissa’s hand in marriage, she sorrowfully accepts, knowing it’s the only offer she’ll ever get.  Yet will Marcus be able to let go of his demons long enough to realize he’s in love with her?  And will he be able to convince Lissa that she belongs in his arms before it’s too late?
