The Bewitching of Alison Allbright

Alison Allbright feels hard done by to be living such a dreary poverty-stricken life. She's ashamed of her  tiny home and of parents who can't even afford a telephone or car. She dreams of having a glamorous mother, beautiful clothes, exciting holidays - all the things that everybody else seems to have.
