Princess Victoria is born to Edward Duke of Kent and his German wife Victoire.



1820

Victoria's father dies.



1828

Feodora, daughter of Victoire, Princess of Leiningen (later Duchess of Kent) and Prince Charles of Leiningen marries Prince Ernest of Hohenlohe Langenburg and goes to live in Germany,



1830

King George the Fourth dies and Victoria's Uncle William becomes King William III.



1832

Victoria visits the Midlands.



1835

Victoria is extremely ill.



1836

Victoria's German cousins Prince Ernest the Elder and Prince Albert come to stay. King William III's 72nd birthday.



1837

Victoria's 18th birthday. Uncle William dies and Victoria becmes Queen.
