Contemporary Tangential Surrealist Poetry: An Anthology

This is the first major international anthology of contemporary tangential surrealist poetry. It presents works by 42 poets arranged alphabetically, from Will Alexander to Andrew Zawacki. The participants of this anthology come from the USA, Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Ukraine, and they write poetry through wonder, intuition, and surprising connections. Guided by their surrealistic imagination, they use the language in innovative, unexpected ways employing transmutation and associative leaps to go deeper and wider, to explore the horizons of ambience. These poets come from different backgrounds; what they have in common is their keenness to reveal the surreal aspects of everyday life and depict altered or thought-up realities that are both strangely familiar and irresistibly unique.
