Diving into the dark side of Diversity and Inclusion where altruistic initiatives have ulterior motives.
Jonathan Archer is a shy graphic designer working at prestigious advertising agency, Inertia. The Executive Committee, alongside Managing Director Deborah Tate, have realised that capitalising on issues of diversity and race could be a fast-track solution to turning around the company’s fading fortunes. Deborah appoints Jonathan, one of the company’s few Black employees, as D&I Champion; with more qualified romantic interest, Jenna, subsequently providing a guiding light. The Inertia team are later hired to support Calvin James, a Black MP, with his carefully curated electoral run.
Meanwhile, Dale and Andy members of right-wing group, National Britain First, have been tasked with a series of attacks to aggravate racial tensions, de-railing Calvin’s campaign run. Their last chance is an attempt to assassinate our rising MP, as Dale’s moral compass starts to shift.
Jonathan grows in his new role, and with new-found confidence begins to challenge the company’s true goals.
Will Jonathan achieve real change as D&I Champion?
Will Dale and Andy complete their mission?
Will Deborah learn the true value of D&I?
