The Magic Band of Five

Have you ever wondered how magical it would be if you could really communicate with animals?

Charlie reluctantly goes to stay with some old family friends he has never met in rural Kenya, while his mother is seriously ill. He gradually discovers that a bronze wrist band, given to him by his grandfather, allows him to communicate with animals in the most extraordinary way.

Together with a new friend Lily, who has a passion for wildlife, they find that some of the last remaining rainforest in the country, and the animals that live there, are in great danger from greedy and corrupt neighbours.

After meeting up with Marian, another amazing young person, they learn of even greater powers that they might be able to use to save everything they love and value.
