Paul Blodgett’s soccer coaching career spans over 4 decades and has reached all levels extending from grassroots and youth up through the World Class level. Paul, a native of Hilton, NY, received his B.S. from Hartwick College and his M.Ed. in Physical Education and Health from Springfield College in Massachusetts. Paul entered the collegiate ranks under legendary Head Coach, Bob Reasso. He worked with him at Rutgers for over 20 years developing the goalkeeper position into one of the cornerstones of the program. "Blodge" mentored multiple regional-level keepers, multiple professionals, and three All-Americans during his tenure there. He moved on to the women’s game at The College of New Jersey where he developed five All-Americans in a row for the program. Paul is a highly respected teacher and mentor in the game. His track record for helping his goalkeepers reach multiple levels of success is well known. His greatest attributes are his unique ability to relate to keepers of all ages, his motivational skills, and his positive energy and enthusiasm. He is highly respected by both players and coaches of all levels and is known as one of the best teachers of the position in the game.
