Farming once was a way of life in Elburton. This book recalls an the local history of an era recently ended by the development of private housing, shops and roads in a locality now within the city of Plymouth. It tells the story of the Ten Farms of Elburton. Traces of their existence can still be found in the local area using clues from this book.
The contents of this book are identical to the original edition. The author, Arthur L Clamp, passed away in 2001, but his legacy lives on through his family, who have made minor alterations to the covers and are co-ordinating the re-publishing project.
This revised edition also includes additional pages about the author.
