Ellie and Daniel had last seen each other when they’d been young children. Now, years later, they unexpectedly meet again. Ellie doesn’t recognise him, but he does her. At first, besides their natural curiosity about what they’d each been up to in the intervening years, there’s no other connection. But that quickly changes. Subtly at first, then at speed.

Until now, Ellie had been certain of the path her life would follow. Her priorities, beliefs, and expectations. Now, those were all being challenged. The question became whether to stay with her status quo, with which she’d been content, or move into uncharted waters. Uncharted waters that would hold difficulties for them both.
