博客來How often our subconscious minds take us back to childhood to books, movies, music, poetry and art. The remembering brings them back to life for a moment or at a significant time. They hold memories of the art and music we shared when we were in love, and they have moments when we were awestruck looking at a field of flowers, all while reciting ＂I wandered lonely as a cloud＂ from Wordsworth. It’s also likely we recounted Robert Frost: ＂Two roads diverged into a yellow road, and I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference＂. Maybe you remember the Myth of Icarus, the tale of two cities or Enid Blyton’s ＂Famous Five＂, Goldsmith’s＂ The Deserted Village＂, or the parables of Christ himself.
