The Manual of the Practice, Procedure and Usage of the South Australian House of Assembly is the definitive work on procedure in the Parliament of South Australia’s House of Assembly. The Manual provides a comprehensive overview of the current rules and practices of the House, including relevant legislation, precedents and Speakers’ rulings as well as history of the development of its Standing Orders, procedures and customs since 1857.

The third edition provides a modern update to the first (1885) and second (1890) editions prepared by former Clerk of the House of Assembly, Edwin Gordon Blackmore CMG.
