Japanese Fairy Tales is a collection of fables from the Japan of long, long ago. Compiled by Yei Theodora Ozaki and first published in 1903, these tales were intended primarily for children, but this collection shines a light on the cultural structure of those times which still has the power and capacity to influence daily life.
