Fifteen-year-old Zoe prefers the company of animals. A self-professed advocate for their rights, Zoe is not above taking matters into her own hands. But the stakes are raised when she finds herself at the centre of conspiracy involving the disappearance of animals from a shelter.

Lucy Lemay Cellucci is a native of North Bay, Ontario. A self-professed ＂closet writer,＂ she spent her childhood and adolescence writing poetry and short stories. As an adult, her writing took a back seat for several years until an idea for a story could no longer be ignored. Sitting down to write the novel was the only way to get Zoe out of LucyA’s head. She lives in Ottawa.＂
