Afterwords

Leon Weinmann studied English and Classics at the University of Massachusetts and earned his doctorate in Comparative Literature from the University of Illinois, where he concentrated on the influence of ancient Greek and Roman lyric on British poetry. He has taught English at various schools and universities in New England and in Italy. He teaches courses in writing, classical literature, and the Bible at Southern Connecticut State University, where he also directs a short-term study abroad program each summer in Rome.
