Lanaia Lee is the author of nearly twenty horror, science fiction, and macabre genre fiction. She is a disabled author, who spins her yarns while basing them on life’s experiences and challenges, wielding an imaginative pen. Lanaia lost her mother when she was a youngster, her father left her to her grandmother after a failed attempt to single parent - even though it broke his heart to do so. Her grandmother, a black witch left Lanaia to struggle with the battles of good and evil. Trying to understand her grandmother’s religion living in the Bible Belt made life less than comprehensible. After a lifetime of sullen life experiences, Ms. Lee suffered a stroke at age of thirty-five, which, she survived; but was left to live out life from a wheelchair with resultant brain injuries strokes often deliver. It is from her wheelchair she delivers the titles readers enjoy today. With no children, Lanaia has adopted a small Jack Russell terrier who remains always by her side. Through rehabilitation, she met her husband David, also a disabled adult. Quoting Lanaia," The wheelchair just slows me down, it is just a thorn in my side, it literally makes me rock and roll. Ms. Lee doesn’t think twice about the wheelchair today, through her determination and strength it is her wish to become a best-selling horror author. There is a lot to learn from Ms. Lanaia Lee, who is fifty years old at this time. She maintains courage to face life head on and states, "With the help of God, I remain proud enough to hold my head high and continue to write for the readers who seem to love my work." Thank you for joining Ms. Lee on her never-ending journey of surprise, shock and awe.
