Afer the Storm

Nate Mathews, an addict in recovery, must break out of prison in order to survive Hurricane Katrina. Days pass without nourishment as he and fellow prisoners wait for rescue on a rooftop. Then, held under armed guard on a crowded interstate bridge, and finally evacuated to a dangerous prison yard, Nate begins a treacherous journey back to the family he left behind during his imprisonment. But once he is released, Nate struggles to win the approval of his son and to regain the trust of his wife. He learns that even with the best intentions, there is no easy road back to the way things used to be.
