Several theological, interpretational problems were stirred up in the Church, preoccupying many of the youth and church servants, leading to a sort of discord, skepticism and finger-pointing. Therefore, I have taken it upon myself to attempt the role of ideological reconciliation, to preserve the peace of the Church and the soundness of teaching, "redeeming the time, because the days are evil." How do we understand our faith? Do we need to discover it? There is a vast difference between a doctrine and the explanation of the doctrine, and also between the faith of the catholic [universal] Church and the personal opinion of some Fathers. Therefore, we should return to the sources of teaching in the Church. Using these sources, this book addresses our relationship with Adam’s sin, and answers the all-important question: Were we affected by his sin, or by its consequences only, that is, death and corruption, or were we not affected at all?
