Alice failed.

The White Queen tricked her, and blew up two dozen NARCO officers in the process. Alice survived the explosion, but has been exiled to the far reaches of Wonderland, a pariah that even her ex-partner Dormouse will not touch.

All is not well in the Alice’s old precinct since her banishment.

The White Queen’s power grows with every passing day. She has corrupted Alice’s old precinct, causing a schism in the department. Alice’s old boss doesn’t know who he can trust. The only thing he knows for sure is that nobody would dare touch Alice. She is too toxic to be of value to anyone except him.
