This is the third book of the Nagaro Chronicle. Four years after Nagaro and his followers formed their covenant and set sail in their captured Mahuk war galley, he commands four ships and is known all the way from the coast of his native Edrovir to the Mahuk Baar. He and his men carry on a form of honorable piracy, attacking only Mahuk warships to free galley slaves, an activity that has made Nagaro a hero to the common folk of Edrovir and caused the Emperor of the Mahuk Baar to put a price on his head.

Nagaro hasn’t forgotten how, at seventeen, he was forced to marry the pincess by use of a will-enslaving drug and was ridiculed throughout Edrovir as the ＂Idiot Prince＂, but his former identity seems safely buried as long as he stays away from the king, the princess, and everyone who knew him in the capital city of Lankura. Nagaro is well content with his chosen work, but his activities have attracted the attention of the King of Edrovir who has instructed Kuran Kel, Edrovir’s Lord of the Royal Fleet, to look for him. Nagaro’s decision to boldly meet this man sets him on a course that will change his life and ultimately alter the history of his world.
