Clive Thurston is living a lie. Having claimed a dying playwright's masterwork as his own, he is hailed as a brilliant, new author. Thurston is now living the good life in Hollywood. He has a house in the country, a manservant, a beautiful fianc e....then one night he meets Eve. Eve isn't beautiful at all, but she's got a way about her.
