Poetry. These "insomniac episodes" consist of 84 tantalizing descriptions of hallucinated Magritte murals, painted on the inside of poet Joseph Reich’s sleepless eyelids. Strongly visual but leaving much to the imagination, humorous, and deliciously paradoxical, they make a delightful introduction to Reich’s wryly obsessive way of shaking off the downpour of the world’s insanity.
