Townspeople in a picture-perfect small town on the Maine coast try to put multiple events from the recent past behind them only to discover that not everything that took place previously remains forgotten or forgiven, while a dangerously unstable young man arrives in town with ideas of murder after finding out his entire life has been a lie. The Soap Opera Inspired Story Collection Series is written in a script-like format instead of the usual way done in books such as Gone with the Wind. Characters in this series will move from one book to another in order for unresolved plotlines to conclude in a realistic way. This scripted format can best be described as binge-watching every season of classic television shows like Knots Landing within a week or two except the story is played out on a printed page and not filmed on video for broadcast.
