JOSEPH BARBER LIGHTFOOT (1828-1889), also known as J. B. Lightfoot, was an English theologian and Bishop of Durham. He attended King Edward’s School in Birmingham before attending Trinity College in Cambridge where he was elected a Fellow of his college. From 1854 to 1859, he edited the Journal of Classical and Sacred Philology. He authored over twenty books. EDWARD D. ANDREWS (AS in Criminal Justice, BS in Religion, MA in Biblical Studies, and MDiv in Theology) is CEO and President of Christian Publishing House. He has authored fifty-three books and coauthored and updated and expanded three books, as well as over 200 articles. Andrews is the chief translator of the Updated American Standard Version.
