The Power of One: Pursuing Unity and Purpose in the Body of Christ

Bishop Anthony Pelt is a native Floridian who earned his B.A. in Political Science and his Master’s in Public Administration at the University of Central Florida. An ordained bishop, he is the Founding Senior Pastor of Radiant Living Worship Cen-ter. Bishop Pelt has served on several local, state, and internation-al boards, including Youth and Christian Education, Seminary Board of Theology, and the General Assembly Cabinet for the Church of God. Bishop Pelt is a man who truly loves the Lord, serves the Lord with gladness, and is committed to implementing solid bibli-cal teaching in ministry-to elevate the people in everyday living outside of the church walls with strong belief that ＂Christian Education is the key to Church Elevation for the total man.＂ Bishop Pelt has preached throughout the States, Canada, and the Caribbean Islands. Bishop Pelt has implemented several annual evangelism out-reach events, including Community Day, at which free health screenings, Blood Bank Mobile, Mammogram Mobile, a clothing drive, prayer, and food are provided. This event nor-mally serves over 200 people. Christmas in Grenada, another of these evangelism outreach opportunities, involves purchasing items like shoes and cloth-ing for over 250 children. These items are shipped to Grenada to provide Christmas for needy children. Bishop Pelt also supports the Angel Tree project for kids in the community whose parents are incarcerated. He has also implemented Man-Up Monday, in which men from all around the community come together to share and encourage one another in dealing with any issues they may face. Bishop Pelt is a community activist and serves as a voice of reason for many people and groups throughout the communi-ty. Because of his passion for education and evangelism, he has now adopted the county schools in our city to provide school supplies, book bags, tissues, and hand sanitizers for students who are less fortunate. He also provides a petty cash fund for the local elementary schools to ensure that no child goes without eating at school. He currently serves as Chairman of the Deerfield Beach Housing Authority. He is a volunteer chaplain for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, a volunteer for Broward County Public Schools, and a guest speaker and mentor for the Jim Moran Youth Automotive Training Center in Deer-field Beach, Florida. He is the past president of the Deerfield Beach Christian Ministerial Association.
