Gore, Halloween, and jump-scares- all of which are perfectly valid associations. This chapbook, disappearing from view, explores the idea of horror in the everyday- the mundane dread of living in an apartment with a neighbor whose car is too loud, the suggestions of some terrible act through a record on someone’s phone... witnessing an event for which you will never find closure.
