I don’t want any of them. No, the only one I want is Natalie’s sweet single mom friend who makes me yearn for things I can never have. Aileen and her kids are moving to LA. I’m coming off the worst year of my life, battling breast cancer while taking care of two young children. When Natalie, Flynn and their friends encourage me to move to LA and work for Quantum, I jump at the chance to give my family a fresh start. And with my off-the-charts attraction to Flynn’s business partner Kristian in the mix, the idea of living in LA becomes that much more appealing.

Everyone shows up to welcome Aileen and the kids to their new home in LA-except Kristian. Since they now work together, he can’t avoid her forever, though, and when these two finally see each other again, sparks fly between the single mom and the producer with a past he’s kept hidden from everyone who matters to him. When his past rears its ugly head, will he run away from the woman he loves or turn to her for comfort in the storm?
