The Scienti-Fit: Logical Fitness Through the Eyes of a Heart Surgeon

Dr. Kalpesh Malik is a renowned Cardiac Surgeon who has been in the medical field since 1988. He is a logical thinker who feels that the management of diseases is incomplete without the knowledge of exercise physiology and nutritional science.

He took a Bodybuilder’s and Master Trainer course from the International Federation of Bodybuilding and a course on Sports Nutrition from the International Sports Sciences Association.

He hit upon the idea of ’Quantified Nutrition’ and has applied it to all his clients. Along with his wife, Ravinder Kaur, he started a fitness company, ’The Scientifit Healthcare And Wellness Services’ which offers its clients various fitness plans such as fat loss, bodybuilding, and reversal of lifestyle diseases. He has successfully managed over 1200 clients in the span of a year.

He runs a Facebook page ’The Scientifit’ and a Facebook group ’The Scientifit Community’ through which he tries to propagate the concept of logical fitness. This book is his endeavour to touch lives with the concept that fitness is very logical and scientific and that every person has a right to be fit.
