What happens when your dream is only achievable if you lie to everyone around you? Or when the one person you wanted to spend your life with leaves the world, and the only friend that understands is your bottle of whiskey?
Lily, whose dream is to work with animals, gets the dream job in Florida at the Animal Refuge, by telling the director and supervisor Jake she has a biology degree. The only problem is: she flunked. Therefore, she must keep piling lies on the facade, or risk losing her dream job.
Darit, whose girlfriend was tragically killed in a car accident last year, relies on whiskey to get him through, and no one is going to tell him to do otherwise. That is, until he meets Una, Branzini’s beautiful daughter, who refuses to share a relationship with a bottle of whiskey.
Unfortunately, when Branzini, a well-known alligator poacher, predicts his own murder and a dead skeleton guy dressed in a Hawaiian shirt and straw hat shows up in the Everglades, Lily and Darit must answer for their connections with Branzini, along with anyone else who may have had connections to him.
When they are faced with the repercussions of their behavior, will they choose to trust God or to follow the destructive paths they created for themselves?
