As the group prepares to spend the summer together at their treehouse in the woods, a spectacular meteor shower marks the beginning of otherworldly events.
Crashing nearby, the group eagerly heads to the meteor crash site to investigate. Little do they realize, though, that something dangerous has arrived with the downed meteorite, and it’s not from this world.
