There are things worse than wolves in this wilderness

With the threat of wolf manoth in the past, and the pain from her transformations beginning to take a dangerous toll, Ari decides it’s time for a vacation. Two weeks of rest and relaxation with Dale in a secluded cabin sounds like exactly what the doctor ordered.

Their plans for romantic getaway are dashed when Ari stumbles over a dead body deep in the woods. When she returns with the police, the body is gone and the scene cleaned up. Her canidae senses confirm the body was there, but the police can’t do anything without proof of a crime.

Investigating on their own, Ari and Dale quickly learn that there are some people who will go to any length to keep their secrets buried.
